# Swept AI pricing

Swept AI is priced on usage, not seats, and every quote is built around how your team will actually use AI. Talk to us for pricing.

We don't publish a price list because two carriers with the same headcount rarely use AI the same way. A short call gets you a number that reflects yours.

## How Swept AI is priced

- **Pricing model:** Usage-based
- **Seat licenses:** None
- **Spend controls:** Hard caps per person or department, set by you
- **Models:** Any you approve, open source or closed

## What you're paying for

Every Swept AI deployment is built around the five problems carriers bring us. Your quote covers the ones you need solved.

### 01. Keep your data safe

Adjusters and underwriters paste policyholder data into personal AI accounts, and software you already approved ships new AI features in routine updates.

- Sanctioned AI, deployed privately through a gateway and isolated cloud
- Guardrails that stop inappropriate work before it starts
- Alerts when a vendor's AI behavior shifts or a feature arrives uninvited
- Task-level classification that flags misuse and personal use
- Encryption and permissions mapped to your organizational structure

### 02. Unshackle the full power of AI

The approved tool is a chat window, so your best people route around it, and agents can't reach the core systems the work lives in.

- Claude and ChatGPT in their native, most capable form
- Greenlight compliant AI quickly, with plain explanations when something fails
- Connectors that let AI agents safely reach in-house and legacy systems

### 03. Keep AI spend in check

Seat licenses bill the same whether anyone opens them, and nobody can tie AI spend to results.

- Usage-based pricing, no per-seat fees
- Caps and budgets per employee or department, metered in real time
- Build or buy on evidence: check vendor accuracy claims against your own policies and data

### 04. Stay ready for the exam

You have an AI policy, and no way to show an examiner or your board that it's being followed.

- Governance mapped to NAIC and state requirements, kept current continuously
- An audit-ready log of every AI interaction
- Board-ready reporting from day one
- Supervision of ongoing risk and performance after go-live

### 05. Keep your options open

Rules built inside one vendor's product have to be rebuilt the day you switch providers.

- Approved models from different providers behind one set of guardrails, so switching doesn't mean starting over

## How we price

A seat license bills the same whether the seat is opened every day or never, and most of what a carrier pays for that way sits dormant. Swept meters real usage instead.

- You pay for the AI your team actually uses, tracked by person, team, and model.
- You set hard budgets per user or department, and the cap holds before the overspend happens.
- Routine work can route to lower-cost models, so top-tier prices only go to the work that needs them.
- Agents, vendor AI, and the models you build are scoped with you, based on what you run.

## Pricing questions

### Does Swept AI publish its prices?

No. Swept AI is priced on usage, so cost depends on how many people use AI, how much, and which models you approve. We share pricing on a call, built around your team. [Talk to us](https://www.swept.ai/contact) to get yours.

### Is there a per-seat or per-user license?

No. Swept has no seat licenses. You pay for the AI your team actually uses.

### Can we cap what we spend?

Yes. Administrators see spending by person, team, and model in real time and set hard budget limits per user or per department. The cap holds before the overspend happens.

### Which models does usage cover?

Any model you approve, open source or closed. Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are where most teams start, and routine tasks can route to lower-cost models.

### Are the Launch, Optimize, and Scale plans listed for "Swept" on Capterra and G2 Swept AI's?

No. Those plans belong to Swept (sweptworks.com), janitorial software from an unrelated company. Swept AI doesn't sell per-location or per-seat plans. More in [Swept AI vs Swept](https://www.swept.ai/swept-ai-vs-swept).
