Shane Emmons

Shane has spent over 20 years at the cutting edge of AI development and engineering leadership. His unique combination of technical depth and organizational expertise has guided companies from early-stage startups to successful exits.

As the former CTO and 5th employee at TeamSnap, Shane scaled the platform to tens of millions of users and orchestrated the technical strategy that led to a nine-figure exit. He holds dual credentials that reflect his integrated approach: a Master's in Computer Science with specialization in AI systems and an MBA in Organizational Leadership. This blend of technical and strategic thinking informs everything at Swept AI.

Beyond his executive experience, Shane created the RubyMoney open-source project, which has been downloaded over 120 million times and powers financial calculations for companies worldwide. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the University of Michigan's Master of Computer Science program, where he shapes the next generation of AI engineers.

At Swept AI, Shane combines deep technical architecture expertise with a visionary approach to AI governance, creating systems that don't just perform but can be trusted with critical decisions.

Amy Fox

Amy has dedicated her career to building intelligent systems that people actually want to use. She has led engineering teams and shipped intuitive software used by over 25 million people, with a specialty at the intersection of user experience and intelligent systems.

Her approach to AI development is fundamentally human-centered — ensuring that advanced systems remain accessible, understandable, and aligned with real user needs. Before co-founding Swept AI, Amy served as lead engineer at multiple early-stage startups and has spent the last decade building product-first, people-focused software platforms that scale with integrity.

Amy is passionate about helping organizations make smarter decisions about AI, driving Swept AI's innovation roadmap and testing methodology. Her expertise in identifying potential failure points and designing resilient systems has become central to how we approach AI supervision.

Together, Shane and Amy have built and scaled software companies for the past eight years — from zero to millions of users and from seed stage to successful exit. Their complementary skills in technical architecture, organizational leadership, and user-centered design form the backbone of Swept AI's approach to trustworthy AI.
